Discovery & Booking Platform
A discovery and booking platform connecting visitors with Scotland’s best drinks experiences.
Overview
A discovery and booking platform connecting visitors with Scotland’s best drinks experiences.
The Challenge
Scotland is home to hundreds of distilleries, breweries and drinks experiences, but discovering and booking them is still surprisingly fragmented. Sip Seekers needed a single place that felt like a trip planner, not a directory dumped into a map pin.
Visitors arrive with different constraints: a weekend in one region, a particular spirit, a group size, a date. If the platform cannot search and compare on those terms, people go back to ten open tabs and a spreadsheet.
Producers needed a reason to be there too. A marketplace only works if listings, availability and bookings are manageable for the people running the experiences, not just attractive for the people taking them.
There was also a journey problem. Discovering a distillery is not the same as getting there. Sip Seekers wanted personalised route planning so a day of tastings could be built, not just bookmarked.
Our Solution
We designed and built a discovery and booking platform that brings Scotland’s drinks experiences into one place. Visitors can search and filter until the list matches how they actually travel, then move from a listing into availability and a booking.
Experience pages, events and availability are treated as part of the same product. The job is to get someone from “that looks good” to a confirmed plan without sending them off-site to finish the job.
Behind the scenes the platform is a marketplace. Producers and experiences can be managed as the catalogue grows, so Sip Seekers is not stuck manually stitching together a static brochure every season.
Route planning sits alongside booking so a visitor can shape a day, not just a single ticket. The result is a platform that makes Scotland’s drinks scene easier to explore and easier to commit to.
